The current opportunity available is for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee multi-unit operations for three distinctive concepts—Nixtaco, Temple Coffee, and Bawk—at Sacramento International Airport. This role presents a unique challenge of managing three separate restaurant brands in a fast-paced and high-energy airport environment. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in inspiring and developing a dynamic team, cultivating a positive and performance-driven workplace culture, and ensuring smooth daily operations with a priority on delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position requires someone passionate about hospitality, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments, and enthusiastic about food and service.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that each concept consistently meets brand standards while managing efficiency, quality, and top-tier service. The Restaurant Manager will need to enforce company policies, oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, and drive strong financial results through effective operational management. Job Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience
- proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory, and scheduling
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- sound judgment and decision-making skills
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- flexibility for varied shift work
- ability to pass background check and security assessment
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience
- proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and employee scheduling
- strong organizational skills with ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate in a fast-paced environment
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to pass criminal records history check and security threat assessment to obtain airport-issued badge
- proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Job Duties
- Ensure adherence to company standards and local regulations
- oversee daily operations including staff management, food quality, customer service, restaurant maintenance, and inventory control
- supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams providing leadership and fostering collaboration
- recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain consistent performance and exceptional service
- enforce company policies and procedures with management and team members
- identify and resolve operational issues while implementing effective solutions with upper management
- handle administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and ad hoc projects
- perform other duties to maintain smooth restaurant operations
