One exciting opportunity is the role of Restaurant Manager to oversee multi-unit operations at Sacramento International Airport. This role is responsible for managing three distinct concepts: Nixtaco, Temple Coffee, and Bawk. Each concept brings its own unique identity and culinary style, creating a dynamic and diverse food offering in a fast-paced airport environment.

Job Requirements

  • minimum 2+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience
  • proficiency in point-of-sale systems inventory control and employee scheduling
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to plan prioritize and delegate in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities
  • proficiency in microsoft office suite word excel powerpoint outlook
  • flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to pass a criminal records history check and security threat assessment to obtain an airport-issued badge and show proof of eligibility to work in the u.s.

Job Duties

  • ensure adherence to company standards and local regulations
  • oversee daily operations including staff management food quality customer service restaurant maintenance and inventory control
  • supervise both front-of-house and back-of-house teams providing leadership and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • recruit train and mentor staff to ensure consistent performance and exceptional customer service
  • enforce company policies and procedures with management and team members
  • identify and resolve operational issues working with upper management to implement effective solutions
  • handle administrative tasks including payroll scheduling and ad hoc projects as needed
  • other duties as assigned to maintain smooth restaurant operations
