Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience with 1-2 years in management
  • Valid Food Handler, Food Manager, and TABC certifications
  • Proven leadership skills in hiring, training, and team management
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory control
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of restaurant experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in hiring, training, and managing hourly team members
  • Experience with inventory control and back-of-house kitchen operations
  • Current Food Handler, Food Manager, and TABC certifications
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local restaurant compliance requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work a flexible 50–55-hour schedule, including weekends, holidays, and mixed shifts

Job Duties

  • As the Manager of Josephine Street, you’re in the driver’s seat — running daily operations, developing your team, maintaining high standards, and creating memorable experiences for every guest
  • You lead with heart and hustle, balancing service, safety, quality, and fun in every shift
  • Lead the Team: Hire, train, schedule, coach, and hold team members accountable with clear expectations and empathy
  • Deliver Great Guest Experiences: Be present on the floor, address concerns with urgency, and ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for
  • Support Kitchen & Bar: Assist with line checks, prep, and food execution to maintain speed, quality, and cleanliness
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee food and bar ordering, inventory accuracy, and cost controls
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, labor laws, and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Promote a Positive Culture: Foster a safe, fun, and collaborative environment built on trust and performance
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with HR, safety, training, and operations teams to support the success of your location
