Job Requirements
- Must have documented and demonstrated skills managing restaurants with overall responsibility for success or failure
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience
- 5-7 years of overall restaurant experience
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies and products or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to work varied and rotating schedules including opening and closing shifts
- Must comply with health and safety standards
- Must be willing to work at Dallas Love Field location
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of documented P&L management experience in a QSR or Casual Dine restaurant
- 5 to 7 years of overall restaurant management experience
- Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program is a plus
- Demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and resolve issues
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards
- Effective communication skills including reading, writing, and comprehension
- Proficient in restaurant management information systems
- Commitment to safety and compliance with health standards
Job Duties
- Ensure all assistant managers and staff recognize the importance of closing and opening procedures
- Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and accept P&L responsibility
- Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and cover all shifts
- Provide consistent support, coaching, and encouragement to staff
- Interview candidates and make hiring, termination, promotion, and advancement decisions
- Ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion philosophy
- Manage onboarding and offboarding and compliance with badging and training
- Monitor financial and operational data to meet unit goals
- Recognize and motivate staff using company programs
- Ensure product availability and oversee receiving and invoicing
- Maintain proficiency in management information systems
- Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment
- Participate in company audits
- Minimize waste and participate in food donation programs
- Assess staff skills and conduct training
- Implement brand standards and landlord lease agreements
- Develop strategies to increase revenue
- Manage day-to-day activities and resolve issues
- Implement marketing programs
- Maintain safety and health standards and train staff on wellness protocols
