We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the Wynn's Desert Inn Cliff House & Grill team. This pivotal role demands a professional with a strong background in food and beverage management within high-volume luxury settings. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service, and driving the financial success of the establishment. The role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate closely with kitchen and brand partners to maintain and elevate the restaurant's culinary standards while fostering a positive and productive team environment.

The Restaurant Manager will manage overall restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with health and safety standards. This includes overseeing inventory management, cost control, and financial targets, as well as leading the execution of company policies and procedures. The manager will be tasked with creating innovative strategies to enhance the guest experience, resolving guest issues promptly and professionally, and conducting pre-shift meetings to keep the team informed and engaged. Leadership responsibilities encompass recruiting, scheduling, training, performance review, and employee engagement, all while adhering to Wynn’s service standards and the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). This role requires flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The position also demands strong communication skills, including fluency in English and preferably a second language. Candidates must be at least twenty-one years of age and able to maintain any necessary licensing or work cards.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage
  • Minimum of two years of management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Must be twenty-one years of age or above
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licensing or active work cards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage
  • Minimum of two years of management experience, preferably in high-volume luxury resort setting
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required licensing or active work cards
  • Applicants must be at least twenty-one years old
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Second language skills are a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage overall restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health department standards and food safety regulations
  • Create and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience
  • Oversee inventory management and cost control to ensure financial targets are met
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop and update menu items
  • Resolve guest issues and address concerns promptly and professionally
  • Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Conduct departmental pre-shift meetings to keep team members informed of pertinent information
  • Supervise and support a team of food and beverage personnel including hiring, scheduling, assigning work, reviewing performance, and employee engagement
  • Train and monitor employees to ensure adherence to the Wynn service standards for all staff
  • Manage the restaurant’s employee relations and human resources agendas while understanding the language within the collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
  • Work closely with brand partners and Executive Chef to create new food items within the concept parameters
  • Other job duties as assigned
