Job Description
The Turning Point is an esteemed, award-winning restaurant company that proudly operates a unique daytime-only service model. With a rich history spanning 28 years, The Turning Point has expanded its footprint across multiple states including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, and Virginia, featuring both corporate-owned and franchised locations. This reputable restaurant is well-known for its commitment to fostering an exceptional work-life balance among its employees by operating exclusively during daytime hours, specifically from 7:30 am to 3 pm. This approach enables its staff and management to return home in time for dinner and enjoy quality personal and family time in the evening, a rare benefit in the restaurant industry where evening and night shifts are typically expected. The Turning Point is dedicated to building a professional, motivated team that prioritizes great service, operational excellence, and consistent growth opportunities. The company fosters a culture of professionalism by welcoming employees who may or may not have prior restaurant experience but exhibit a strong desire to learn and lead. Furthermore, the company emphasizes gratitude and respect, recognizing and rewarding team members through company picnics, evening dinner outings, additional paid time off, manager workshops, and various tokens of appreciation, including birthday celebrations. A comprehensive managerial training program backs new hires, featuring weekly and biweekly check-ins with both upper management and human resources to ensure an enriching and positive onboarding process. After training, managers take on full operational responsibility for individual stores, supported by district managers, with a core focus on providing leadership and maintaining top-tier guest satisfaction. This role is critical to The Turning Point's success as it directly influences the guest experience and team morale. The opportunity promises rewarding career growth in an expanding company that values collaboration and respect among colleagues and employees alike. The salary range for this position is competitive, starting between $55,000 and $65,000 per year with additional potential earnings from performance-based bonuses. The shift offered is exclusively daytime on a single shift basis — eliminating night shifts, late hours, and the need for double shifts, thereby promoting a healthier lifestyle for managers. The company also supports its managers with advanced technological solutions and clear financial performance transparency, ensuring that compensation is fair and based on measurable store success. Moreover, relocation opportunities are available within the operating states, providing additional avenues for career development. Turning Point remains steadfast in its mission to consistently hire and develop exceptional team members while fostering equity and equality throughout its operations. Overall, this role offers a unique blend of professional development in restaurant management with a focus on maintaining a balanced personal life, all within a respectful and growth-oriented environment.
