Job Description

Turning Point is a reputable and award-winning daytime-only restaurant that has been successfully operating for 28 years, with multiple locations spanning New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, and Virginia. Known for its commitment to offering a balanced work-life environment, Turning Point operates restaurants with hours exclusively between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM, thereby providing its employees the unique advantage of never working night shifts and being home in time for dinner every night. As a growing company with both corporate-owned and franchised locations, Turning Point values professionalism, growth opportunities, respect, and gratitude towards its team members while maintaining high standards of guest service and operational excellence.

The role of Daytime Restaurant Manager at Turning Point involves managing a single shift, which allows you to regain your personal time with no open or close shifts required, no double shifts, and focused daytime operations. This position provides a hands-on management experience where you will lead both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction. As a manager, you will conduct inventories, maintain full transparency on financial performance for performance-based compensation, and utilize fully implemented technological solutions that streamline daily tasks. Your leadership will be supported with ongoing training, communication, and collaboration from upper management and HR, creating a thriving and encouraging work atmosphere. Moreover, the role offers relocation opportunities within the states the company operates in, reflecting a commitment to growth and flexibility.

Besides managing operations, you will be responsible for recruiting exceptional team members, ensuring equity and equality throughout your team, and creating opportunities for growth within your staff. This comprehensive managerial role is designed to provide you with all the resources and support necessary to succeed, including weekly and biweekly check-ins during training, company events that promote team bonding, and appreciation gestures such as birthday announcements and gifts. The position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, with additional earnings possible through 13 performance-based bonuses annually.

By joining Turning Point, you will become part of a team that prioritizes professional development, respects and appreciates its employees, and fosters a collaborative workplace culture. The company is passionate about finding energetic, motivated individuals willing to learn and lead, even if they lack prior restaurant experience. This ensures that the workplace is inclusive and focused on personal and professional growth. At Turning Point, management is not just a job but a rewarding career path where making a positive impact on your team and guests is at the core of daily operations.

Located in Cherry Hill Township, NJ, Turning Point promises a supportive, respectful, and motivating environment where you can thrive as a leader and build a fulfilling career in the restaurant industry without sacrificing your personal time or family life. If you are looking for a daytime managerial position with excellent benefits, professional growth, and a positive company culture, Turning Point invites you to apply and become part of this thriving and expanding restaurant family.
