Job Description

Chili's Grill & Bar is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain founded in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, Chili's has established itself as a leader in the casual dining industry by offering a unique blend of bold flavors, classic American dishes, and an inviting atmosphere that caters to families, friends, and communities across the nation. Known for its iconic Big Mouth burgers, house smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's prides itself on delivering a memorable dining experience for every guest. The company is deeply committed to service, hospitality, and giving back to the communities it serves, creating a culture where every guest feels valued and every team member is encouraged to thrive.

Joining Chili's means becoming part of a vibrant culture that emphasizes fun, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. Managers at Chili's are not just overseers of daily operations but inspirational leaders who foster a win-together atmosphere. They are passionate about connecting with both team members and guests, understanding the importance of making each dining experience special and memorable. The company believes in recognizing those who go above and beyond to help build a supportive and energetic environment where everyone can succeed.

The role of a Chili's Manager is multifaceted and critical to the overall success of each restaurant location. As a Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a great guest experience by maintaining high operational and quality standards. This involves being a role model, holding team members accountable, and fostering an open line of communication between staff and management. You will be expected to lead with both heart and mind, applying emotional intelligence and business acumen to drive results.

Managers play a key role in problem-solving by identifying the root causes of issues and demonstrating self-reflection with accountability and transparency. They are instrumental in influencing team member behaviors by championing change and driving restaurant initiatives. Additionally, Managers are responsible for controlling costs by utilizing Chili's operational systems effectively and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.

A significant part of the Manager's role involves hiring, training, retaining, and developing team members to grow within the company. This leadership position calls for an individual who is dependable, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels at multitasking. Beyond the internal focus, Managers also drive guest engagement within the restaurant and help develop relationships within the local community, embodying Chili's cultural beliefs which include Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working collaboratively with a dynamic team, and wants to make a meaningful impact both within the restaurant and the community. With a culture built on fun and high-energy teamwork, Chili's offers a rewarding environment for Managers who are eager to achieve top business results while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
