Job Description

Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain that was born in Dallas, Texas in 1975. Over the decades, it has firmly positioned itself as a beloved destination for vibrant flavors and hearty dishes, such as Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and refreshing hand-shaken margaritas. With a longstanding tradition rooted in exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and meaningful community involvement, Chili's prides itself on delivering an unparalleled dining experience to every guest, every single day. The restaurant's culture emphasizes fun and a team-oriented environment, creating a winning atmosphere where employees are encouraged to collaborate, innovate, and enjoy their work without losing sight of business goals. This supportive culture has nourished Chili's growth and continued success within the competitive casual dining industry.

The Manager role at Chili's is critical to maintaining this high standard of guest satisfaction and operational excellence. As a manager, you are at the heart of the restaurant's success, with the responsibility of leading your team through high-energy shifts while ensuring that each guest's experience exceeds expectations. The position demands a blend of hospitality passion, leadership, and business acumen. Managers serve not only as operational leaders but also as cultural ambassadors, embodying Chili's core values of "Every Guest Counts," "Food Perfection," "Be Accountable," and "Play Restaurant." Your role includes fostering open communication, encouraging teamwork, holding team members accountable, and championing change and new initiatives to continuously improve the restaurant's performance.

This role also requires hands-on involvement with key operational systems such as performing quality line checks, following the Manager Timeline, and implementing cost control measures through Chili's established operational systems. Recruiting, training, and developing team members to grow within the company is another critical aspect, ensuring a strong, capable workforce aligned with Chili's service standards. Safety also remains paramount, as managers must enforce safe food handling procedures to safeguard guest health. Beyond the restaurant walls, managers engage with the local community to build meaningful relationships that enhance guest engagement and loyalty.

Chili's managers are not only results-driven but also people-oriented, knowing how to balance achieving top business outcomes while creating an enjoyable workplace. Whether managing day-to-day operations, solving root causes of issues with transparency, or celebrating team successes, Chili's managers play a pivotal role in shaping the energetic, welcoming environment that diners love. This position is ideal for dependable, multitasking professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about food, hospitality, and leadership. It represents a unique opportunity to take your hospitality career to the next level with a company that values accountability, teamwork, and fun in equal measure.
