Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8 to 10 years related Food & Beverage experience
  • at least 5 years management experience
  • knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws
  • Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification
  • possession of Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • experience with POS, payroll and inventory systems
  • strong communication skills
  • excellent customer service abilities
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • professional appearance
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • able to handle physical demands of the role
  • able to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • college degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • 8 to 10 years of related experience in Food & Beverage industry
  • minimum 5 years in a management role
  • knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4
  • Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification required
  • possession of Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card
  • strong communication, supervisory and organizational skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work harmoniously with team members
  • well-groomed and professional appearance
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • experience with POS systems (InfoGenesis preferred)
  • experience with timekeeping/payroll systems (Kronos preferred)
  • experience with inventory/purchasing systems (SWS preferred)
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Duties

  • Ensures excellent customer service for every guest, every time
  • oversees daily floor operation of the restaurant and beverage outlet
  • develops daily opening/closing duties for the restaurant with the Dining Shift Supervisors
  • works with chefs on promoting daily food specials
  • coordinates pricing and menu changes on the POS system (InfoGenesis)
  • coordinates with IT on menus and specials on casino video monitors
  • helps with advertising ideas to promote the restaurant
  • approves all employee schedules for the restaurant and bars
  • verifies validity of casino complimentary slips for food and beverage checks
  • coordinates customer service training for the department
  • responsible for monthly inventory counts and control of china, glass, silverware
  • maintains and instructs personnel on safety and health standards
  • oversees daily cashier checkout and POS reconciliation
  • ensures sanitation and personal hygiene standards are met
  • conducts weekly/monthly inventory control of silverware, glassware and china
  • plans and implements operating plans and budgets
  • maintains policies and procedures across multiple restaurants
  • establishes and administers training programs
  • ensures facilities are adequate for personnel duties
  • addresses customer comments promptly
  • assists in annual budget compilations
  • coordinates performance reviews
  • ensures hiring, disciplinary actions follow policies
  • recommends personnel changes
  • maintains staff records
  • oversees Food & Beverage outlets in absence of managers
  • hires and trains Tribal Members per guidelines
