Security management is also a key responsibility, safeguarding employees and guests by enforcing appropriate safety measures.
Cost control is another important facet of this role, involving weekly management of food, supplies, and liquor inventories. The Restaurant Manager must practice and promote safe food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Creating a clean, fun, and safe work environment for the staff is in line with Texas Roadhouse's core values and operational goals, fostering teamwork, motivation, and employee satisfaction.

Additional financial benefits include flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursements up to $5,250 annually, a monthly profit-sharing program, and a quarterly restricted stock units program.
