Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in serving highly craveable chicken finger meals. Known affectionately as 'One Love,' the brand has cultivated a loyal customer base by focusing on quality food, exceptional service, and a vibrant workplace culture. Raising Cane's is rapidly expanding and is on track to becoming a Top 10 Restaurant Brand in the United States. The company emphasizes a 'Work Hard. Have Fun.' philosophy, creating a dynamic environment where teamwork and community spirit thrive. Every team member, or Crewmember, plays a crucial role in supporting the company's rapid growth and long-term success.
As a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's, you will support the Restaurant Leader by overseeing the day-to-day operations within the restaurant. This role directly influences the restaurant’s performance by ensuring that all operational activities meet Raising Cane’s high standards and that the culture of excellence is firmly upheld throughout every shift. As a leader on duty, you will open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling procedures to ensure accountability, and direct the team to deliver exemplary customer service. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, you will be involved in physical tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, and must also be prepared to work in varied temperature conditions, both inside and outside the restaurant.
The position offers an initial hiring pay starting at $18 per hour with an additional $1 per hour late-night incentive after 10 pm. Full-time Restaurant Managers are eligible for an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage, along with dependent care and flexible spending accounts. The company also provides life and disability insurance, hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer match for employees aged 21 and older, and access to financial advisors. Additional perks include a gym membership program, tuition reimbursement, a crewmember assistance program, and even pet insurance.
Working as a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is not just about overseeing operations; it involves enforcing company policies, managing cash, using various management tools and logs, and taking corrective actions to maintain high store standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. The position involves managing multiple priorities in a constantly changing setting and includes responsibilities such as staffing, scheduling, and cost management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technology systems are also essential.
Besides the substantial benefits, Raising Cane's offers weekly pay, competitive pay plus monthly bonuses, paid time off including sick leave, eight paid holidays annually, early closure for company events, casual work attire, and employee discount programs. These perks exhibit the company’s commitment to creating a positive and supportive workplace for its managers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have at least one year of restaurant or retail management experience, are detail-oriented, energetic, and ready to lead a team committed to delivering outstanding food and service. If you enjoy a fun yet challenging leadership role within an exciting restaurant brand focused on growth and employee development, Raising Cane's welcomes your application.
