Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established and respected restaurant chain specializing in seafood dining experiences. Known for its commitment to high-quality seafood and exceptional guest service, Red Lobster stands out as a leader in the restaurant industry with numerous locations across the country. The company has built a strong reputation by focusing on fresh ingredients, innovative menu offerings, and providing a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. Red Lobster prides itself on creating memorable dining experiences, emphasizing customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment for its staff. Their dedication to excellence and growth has positioned them as a top employer within the casual dining niche.
The role of Restaurant Manager at Red Lobster is a pivotal position that combines leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality to drive restaurant success. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary between USD $54,300 and $61,500, coupled with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. As a Restaurant Manager, you will take charge of all aspects of restaurant operations, with a key focus on delivering outstanding seafood and beverage experiences to guests while maximizing guest satisfaction and sales results.
Your responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and inspiring the team that enhances the unique culture and success of your restaurant. You will create and maintain a fun, safe, and development-focused environment for your employees, encouraging growth and commitment. Ensuring compliance with all employment policies, handling performance management through evaluations, coaching, training, and disciplinary actions will be a critical part of your role.
Safety and cleanliness remain top priorities, and you will lead by example in practicing safe food handling procedures and maintaining a spotless environment to guarantee guest safety and comfort at all times. Red Lobster invests heavily in its managers with dedicated in-restaurant training programs, individual development plans, and ongoing certification opportunities to help you remain at the forefront of restaurant management best practices.
Flexibility and work-life balance are fundamental values at Red Lobster. The restaurant operates between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m., allowing managers to avoid early mornings or late nights and maintain an optimal work-life balance. In addition, Red Lobster offers leadership mentoring to fast track your career growth, supporting your personal and professional goals.
In this role, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage available immediately, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match after one year, paid vacation, and dining discounts. This role is designed for those with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business setting, with a preference for those who have two or more years of casual dining or full-service restaurant management experience. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have, or be willing to obtain, ServSafe and other local or state certifications. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
If you are passionate about restaurant leadership and eager to elevate your career in a dynamic, supportive environment, Red Lobster offers the training, resources, and opportunities to help you reach your goals. Join a team that values quality, integrity, and hospitality excellence, and become a key player in delivering unforgettable dining experiences every day.
