Established in 1988, Outback Steakhouse has grown to become a favorite dining destination for customers who appreciate high-quality food served in a welcoming and fun environment. The Out West Restaurant Group is the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, and they pride themselves on maintaining a culture that respects and supports both their employees and customers. They believe in treating people "Just Right" to ensure success and satisfaction for everyone involved. Their commitment extends beyond their food; it is rooted in nurturing a community within the company, positively impacting the lives of their staff, whom they affectionately call "Outbackers." The work atmosphere emanates camaraderie, respect, and enthusiasm, making it a great place to grow one's career.

The role being offered is that of a Restaurant Manager, a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) functions within the restaurant. This is a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive salary range of $67,000 to $75,000 per year. The Restaurant Manager will work under limited supervision, ensuring that company standards and customer experience expectations are consistently met and exceeded. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional leadership skills, guiding and mentoring employees while driving profitability through efficient labor management and cost control of food and beverages.

New managers at Outback Steakhouse receive an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to set them up for success and develop them into top-notch leaders within the Outback family. This comprehensive training program lasts approximately 11 weeks and provides the tools, knowledge, and mentorship necessary to thrive in the role. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for creating an engaging and enjoyable environment for the team, maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service. They will work diligently to recruit new talent, continuously grow the business through effective sales and marketing strategies, and uphold strict compliance with policies and procedures.

Beyond career development, the company offers an incredible work-life balance targeting a 47-hour work week and provides inclusive health insurance plans covering medical, dental, and vision for individuals and families. Managers also enjoy paid vacation, accrued sick leave, a 401(k) retirement plan, and supplemental benefits. The culture at Outback Steakhouse celebrates hard work, effort, perseverance, and leadership, complemented by perks such as a complimentary manager shift meal and access to a company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program. With plenty of future career advancement opportunities and a hospitable work environment, employees are supported every step of the way.

Out West Restaurant Group is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or other protected statuses. The group has received several accolades, including the Monitor 200 Award, ranking in the top 50 franchisees in the U.S. for four consecutive years, and the 2022 International Franchise Association’s Franchisee of the Year award for exemplary community service. They are also proud supporters of non-profit organizations that assist restaurant employees and their families during difficult times.
