The role of Restaurant Manager at The Old Spaghetti Factory offers an exciting opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals to lead a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering outstanding guest service. The position involves overseeing a department within the restaurant, ensuring that team members have the resources and guidance necessary to provide every guest with an exceptional dining experience. In this full-time role, the Restaurant Manager will be responsible for various operational tasks including cost control, inventory management, labor scheduling, and adherence to labor laws. They will also manage the training and coaching of staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. The position requires hands-on involvement before, during, and after service to ensure all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly. Additional duties include implementing marketing initiatives, assisting in interviewing and onboarding new team members, and performing opening or closing duties as necessary.
Compensation for this role is competitive, with a pay range between $60,255 and $70,655 annually. Pay rates are determined based on the candidate’s years of experience and education. There is also an overtime pay policy compliant with California laws and a pay increase upon successful completion of training. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in the hospitality industry as a server or bartender
- Experience in training and leadership roles preferred
- Ability to work 45-50 hours per week
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
