We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team. This leadership role is integral to maintaining Shake Shack's standards of service and guest satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure the highest quality of hospitality and efficient restaurant performance. They will be responsible for training, motivating, and managing team members, creating a positive and productive work environment. Leadership at Shake Shack is about coaching and inspiring the team to achieve excellence consistently, while also managing compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Additionally, the Restaurant Manager will play a key role in community engagement by developing and implementing strategies to promote the Shake Shack brand locally through word-of-mouth and in-restaurant events. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of restaurant operations, personnel management, financial business aspects, and possess an aptitude for leadership and team development. This role offers a competitive compensation range between $50,752 and $62,566 annually and requires flexibility to work various hours.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Aptitude for leadership and coaching
  • Understanding of financial aspects of business operations
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure superior service and guest satisfaction
  • Train team members on all aspects of the Shack operations
  • Motivate and manage team members to provide highest level of hospitality
  • Demonstrate leadership with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
  • Develop and implement plan to promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
