Established in 1988, Outback Steakhouse has grown into a staple for full-service dining that blends quality food with a fun and engaging atmosphere. The company places a strong emphasis on treating customers and employees "Just Right," fostering a culture of respect, camaraderie, and enthusiasm. Recognized as the Franchisee of the Year in 2022 by the International Franchise Association for excellence in local community service, Outback Steakhouse continues to lead the industry with a commitment to both customer satisfaction and employee development.
The Restaurant Manager role at Outback Steakhouse is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations with limited supervision. This leadership role demands a professional who can uphold company standards, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and provide clear direction to team members. Managers are guided through an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program, which equips them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This prepares them to become influential leaders within the Outback family, driving the restaurant's operational success and cultivating a fun, supportive work environment. This role offers a targeted 47-hour workweek with opportunities for advancement to upper management, competitive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, 401k retirement plans, and comprehensive training. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic restaurant setting, balancing profitability with high standards of food quality, customer service, and employee satisfaction.
