This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated Jack in the Box restaurant franchise. Unlike corporate-owned units, this franchise operates autonomously, with the independent franchisee managing all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, wages, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in fast food or quick service restaurant management
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Capability to train and lead a diverse team
- Commitment to upholding brand standards and customer service excellence
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
- Familiarity with JIB operational systems and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
- Understanding of labor laws and regulatory requirements
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Ensure training systems for workstations are fully implemented and followed
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader roles
- Motivate, inspire, and recognize employees to achieve high performance
- Manage daily operations to achieve excellence in restaurant performance
- Ensure exceptional guest service and food quality consistent with JIB standards
- Address guest concerns professionally and ensure positive resolutions
- Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and strong brand image of the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and operational policies
