Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience as a server or bartender, preferably with training and leadership responsibilities
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to motivate and coach staff
  • experience with cost control and inventory management
  • understanding of labor law compliance
  • positive and approachable demeanor
  • strong work ethic and team collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure success of guest service and guest experience
  • cost control, food, bar, labor, ordering and inventory
  • oversee staff before, during and after service
  • provide training and coaching of standards
  • shift planning and scheduling of staff for anticipated business flow
  • ensure labor law compliance
  • perform opening and/or closing duties of the restaurant
  • coach and motivate team to support and align with company culture and business needs
  • implementing specials and marketing initiatives, scheduling and inventory
  • assist in interviewing and orientation of new team members
