This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. While the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, it operates as an independent company with its own management, staff, and employment policies. This distinction means that the franchisee is solely responsible for employment decisions such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, and McDonald's USA is not involved in these matters. If you are hired, your employment contract will be with the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
