Oregano's Pizza Bistro is a well-established restaurant renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and vibrant team culture. As a popular neighborhood pizza bistro in Arizona, Oregano's has garnered a strong reputation for its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and passionate focus on hospitality. The company is currently expanding and seeking dynamic and high-energy Support Managers to join its growing team. The Support Manager role at Oregano's is more than just a managerial position – it is about being the 'Big Cheese' of guest experiences and team spirit. This position involves overseeing shift staffing, enforcing service standards, and leading pre-shift meetings to get the team prepared for a successful day. Support Managers are responsible for coaching and developing team members, reducing turnover, and actively participating in the hiring process to cultivate talent within the organization. They also ensure strict adherence to food safety standards by conducting line checks and recipe compliance, maintaining the highest levels of quality at all times.
Guest satisfaction is a top priority, and Support Managers handle any concerns graciously to guarantee that every dish meets the bistro's high standards. Operational excellence is maintained through precise management of administrative duties such as shift notes, HACCP logs, and staff performance reviews. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and proficiency with relevant technology including Windows, Office, and POS systems such as Aloha, OLO, and Compeat Radar.
The position requires a flexible work schedule, including the ability to work a 55-hour week with weekends and holidays, reflecting the fast-paced environment of the restaurant industry. Physical endurance is necessary as the role demands standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. All applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, appropriate food safety and alcohol certifications, and pass a comprehensive background check encompassing credit, driving, and criminal history.
