Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe certification
- completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to stand and walk 85-95 percent of the shift
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and personal vehicle for business purposes
- effective English communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- basic math proficiency
- ability to use computers
- willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative
- ability to perform under pressure
- must comply with all labor laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promote
- minimum 3 years management experience with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
- ServSafe certification required
- completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- proficient in basic math concepts
- strong analytical and organizational skills
- ability to use personal computers and related software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ethical behavior and integrity
- ability to manage conflict and stressful situations professionally
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- ensure excellent guest service and food quality are consistently delivered
- manage daily restaurant operations to achieve sales and profit targets
- analyze operational and financial performance and implement improvement plans
- maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies and regulations
- respond professionally to guest concerns and complaints
- utilize Jack in the Box systems, tools, and processes effectively
- treat all employees with respect and dignity
- recognize and reward employees regularly
- ensure adherence to labor laws
- manage budgeting and cost control
- serve as a role model for ethical behavior and guest focus
- perform other related duties as assigned
