Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a well-known fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in chicken finger meals, recognized as our signature offering or 'One Love.' With a strong presence in the food service industry, Raising Cane's is rapidly expanding and on track to become one of the top 10 restaurant brands in the United States. The company prides itself on fostering a dynamic work environment characterized by a strong Crew culture and a philosophy centered on working hard while having fun. This growth-oriented approach has allowed Raising Cane's to become the fastest-growing chicken concept in the nation, attracting passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Restaurant Manager role at Raising Cane's is a pivotal leadership position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in the day-to-day operational management of the restaurant. This includes overseeing shift management duties to ensure all zones meet Raising Cane's stringent operational standards and uphold the vibrant company culture. The position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment that demands physical endurance — such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending — along with engaging with customers and staff in varied temperature conditions. Additionally, the role involves handling food products with common allergens, operating industrial kitchen equipment, and utilizing commercial cleaning products in compliance with safety protocols.

Your responsibilities as a Restaurant Manager will include serving as the manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining cash handling accountability, and enforcing company policies and standards. You will drive operational excellence by executing shift management duties effectively, directing crewmembers, providing exemplary customer service, and fostering a motivational environment using the company’s reward and recognition programs. Authorizing employee functions that require managerial approval and ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the restaurant facility are also part of your role. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adjust to operational demands, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting.

Starting compensation for this position begins at $20.50 per hour plus bonuses, with pay rates varying by location and experience. Raising Cane's offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time Restaurant Managers, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, life and disability insurance, healthcare flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Additional benefits include tuition reimbursement, gym membership programs, pet insurance, and access to financial advisors. Managers also enjoy weekly pay, paid time off, sick leave, paid holidays, casual work attire, and employee discount programs. This rewarding role offers growth potential and the chance to be part of a nationally recognized brand where your leadership and hard work make a meaningful impact.
