Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math functions
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organization and planning skills
  • self-starter with initiative
  • proficient in personal computer use
  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • willingness to travel to other locations as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required for internal promotion
  • working toward AA or BA/BS preferred
  • AA degree acceptable for external recruitment
  • BA/BS in Business or related field preferred for external candidates
  • minimum of 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
  • minimum of 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • ServSafe certification required
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong analytical and organizational skills
  • proficiency with computers and software applications
  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • ability to perform basic math
  • demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels and ensure training adherence
  • develop internal candidates for management positions
  • execute the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
  • maintain a fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivate and recognize employees
  • manage restaurant daily operations to ensure guest service excellence
  • respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • uphold food safety and quality standards
  • analyze operational and financial performance data
  • implement action plans for sales and profit growth
  • ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
