The restaurant manager role at Out West is a vital position directly contributing to the success of each restaurant location. This full-time role, with a competitive salary range of $57,784 to $60,000 and bonus opportunities, is designed for dedicated and skilled leaders eager to advance their careers within a growing company. Candidates who accept this opportunity will be part of a well-structured Management in Training (MIT) program that prepares them thoroughly for the challenges and responsibilities inherent to daily restaurant operations. This program equips new managers with the knowledge and expertise to lead Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) functions effectively while upholding Outback's renowned standards of service and hospitality.

As a restaurant manager, the individual will oversee various operational aspects, from maintaining compliance with company standards and policies to ensuring outstanding customer experiences. The role requires hands-on leadership, including mentoring and developing staff, managing labor and inventory costs prudently, and driving sales growth through excellent service and marketing strategies. The manager also bears responsibility for ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation, actively promoting a safe and organized workspace.

  • highly proficient in English verbal, reading & writing communication skills

  • ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per shift
  • frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
  • manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
  • ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
