We are currently seeking a highly capable Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee all kitchen operations within the restaurant. This role is pivotal, providing hands-on leadership for the Heart of House (HOH) team, ensuring standards of service, food quality, and sanitation are consistently maintained. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring hourly staff, managing day-to-day kitchen operations, and driving the team to meet business goals through effective financial management and operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our operating systems, procedures, and cultural values, inspiring the team to adhere to our philosophies and foster a supportive, productive working environment.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a minimum of two years experience managing similar restaurant concepts. You should have a track record of developing motivated teams that perform well and deliver outstanding hospitality. Your role will involve actively monitoring food quality and service standards, conducting line checks, and ensuring all procedures and training materials are up to date and followed meticulously. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, problem resolution expertise, and the ability to remain positive and composed under pressure. You will also oversee the maintenance of the restaurant’s physical assets including equipment, furniture, and fixtures to ensure they are clean, functional, and well-maintained.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as RM in a similar restaurant concept
  • Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and ability to lead high performing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive financial results

Job Duties

  • Teach and coach hourly team on maintaining our standards for service, food and beverage
  • Actively monitor food quality to ensure adherence with our standards, provide timely feedback to hourly staff, and lead action to correct any issues
  • Oversee the heart of the house on your shifts and ensure it is operating efficiently while maintaining food quality and sanitation standards
  • Ensure line checks and production are both completed in compliance with our systems and standards
  • Mentor and develop the HOH hourly staff to support the organization’s talent pipeline and drive growth
  • Achieve business plan and goals through effective financial management
  • Maintain fully and properly trained staff to operate restaurant effectively
  • Ensure that all operations, recipe, specifications books, and training materials are current and maintained
  • Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean, and maintained on a regular basis
