Job Description

Asia Live, set to open in the spring of 2026, is a pioneering new Asian cuisine restaurant located in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in the Silicon Valley area. This innovative dining establishment marks an exciting expansion for China Live San Francisco, bringing authentic and modern Asian flavors to a vibrant new complex spanning 12,000 square feet. True to the original China Live concept, Asia Live features an open kitchen design where guests can witness the culinary artistry firsthand, enhancing the overall dining experience with a visual journey through Asian cooking techniques and traditions.

Asia Live specializes in delivering a wide range of authentic dishes inspired by the diverse culinary traditions found across Asia. Guests will enjoy a menu that balances classic flavors with contemporary presentations, crafted using high-quality ingredients to ensure every meal is memorable. The restaurant promises a welcoming atmosphere where exceptional service is a top priority, reflecting a strong commitment to both food excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is a crucial leadership position responsible for the seamless operation of this highly anticipated dining venue. The successful candidate will spearhead all front-of-house and back-of-house activities, demonstrating strong leadership skills to build and maintain a motivated team capable of delivering top-tier service in a bustling, high-volume environment. This role requires overseeing staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision to cultivate a positive and productive workplace culture. Moreover, the Restaurant Manager will ensure that all dishes maintain authenticity and presentation standards reflective of Asian culinary heritage.

Operational oversight extends to inventory control, vendor management, and cost optimization for food and labor expenses. Compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations is mandatory, promoting a safe and clean dining environment. Additionally, the Restaurant Manager will be responsible for monitoring sales performance and managing budgets to meet business goals, while also developing innovative marketing initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining clientele.

Asia Live values a culturally respectful and team-oriented workplace, and the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enabling them to handle guest concerns promptly and effectively. Experience in restaurant operations, particularly within Asian cuisine settings, is highly desired. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.

This opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for a passionate hospitality professional ready to contribute to the success of a unique culinary destination in Silicon Valley. Those who join Asia Live will be part of an ambitious project that celebrates Asian culture and cuisine through exceptional dining experiences and outstanding service.
