Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a rapidly expanding fast-food restaurant chain known for serving the most craveable and high-quality chicken finger meals. As the fastest-growing chicken concept in the United States, Raising Cane's is on track to becoming a Top 10 restaurant brand nationwide. The company prides itself on its dedicated Crew and vibrant Culture, promoting a philosophy of "Work Hard. Have Fun." This commitment has fostered an environment where every Crewmember plays a vital role in the restaurant's enduring success and rapid growth. Raising Cane's is not just a restaurant; it is a community focused on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

The role of a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is crucial to the seamless execution of daily restaurant operations. This position is designed to support the Restaurant Leader by ensuring all operations meet the company’s high standards across all restaurant zones during their shift. Restaurant Managers act as managers on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling procedures, and ensuring financial accountability. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment that demands physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The work environment includes exposure to varied temperatures, interaction with food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning products, all requiring compliance with safety and personal protective equipment guidelines.

Restaurant Managers at Raising Cane's must enforce company policies and operational standards rigorously while executing shift management responsibilities that prioritize safety and quality. They use specialized tools, forms, and logs to document shift results, take corrective actions as needed, and lead the crew effectively during their shift. Providing exemplary customer service is a core aspect of this role, alongside utilizing reward and recognition programs to motivate crewmembers. Managers also oversee employee functions that require managerial approval, such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides, ensuring the restaurant remains clean and fully operational. Additional duties may be assigned to support the team and company goals.

The company offers competitive hourly pay starting at $20, varying by location and experience, with additional monthly bonuses. Full-time Restaurant Managers benefit from an extensive package including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, and hospital indemnity coverage. Financial wellness is supported through a 401(k) with employer match for eligible employees, access to financial advisors, and tuition reimbursement programs. Employee wellbeing initiatives also include gym membership programs, crewmember assistance programs, and even pet insurance.

Raising Cane's culture promotes a positive work environment with perks such as weekly pay, paid time off, sick time, paid holidays, and casual work attire. The company supports its employees' work-life balance with early closures for company events and discounts through Perkspot employee discount programs. Joining Raising Cane's as a Restaurant Manager means becoming part of a dynamic team passionate about excellent food and service, with numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth within a leading restaurant brand.
