This position is intended for experienced professionals with a robust background in Food and Beverage operations, specifically within hotel or casino environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Physical fitness is important due to the operational requirements including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally handling up to 100 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Must have extensive Food and Beverage operations background
  • Supervisory and management experience in hotel and casino environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations including rate, ratio, and percent
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Serve Safe certified or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Must meet professional appearance standards
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Able to work in fast-paced, noisy, and crowded environments
  • Must be physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, and balance
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues

Job Duties

  • Hire, retain, motivate, evaluate and manage team members in restaurants ensuring adequate guidance and resources
  • Review activities in all restaurants to improve staffing levels, working conditions, and guest service quality
  • Establish restaurant standards, guidelines, and objectives while managing budgets and staffing
  • Monitor and evaluate all reporting departments for short and long-term strategic planning
  • Review operational strengths and weaknesses such as cost of sales and inventory par levels to improve efficiency
  • Conduct oneself professionally to reflect positively on PENN Entertainment
  • Assist in preparation of Food and Beverage budget and respond to profit and loss statements
