Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 5 years related supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Knowledge of store operations, scheduling, cost control and inventory policies
  • Basic computer proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office
  • Food preparation skills
  • Up-to-date food safety and health code compliance
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Completion of management training program (MIT)

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 5 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or related management role
  • Strong knowledge of store operations and management principles including scheduling, cost control and inventory management
  • Basic computer skills including POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Proven food preparation skills relevant to the restaurant business
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Completion of company management development training (MIT program) is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Effective leadership and team development capabilities

Job Duties

  • Deliver high quality results through workforce planning including recruitment, selection, onboarding, education and coaching
  • Manage store operations through application of policies, service standards and continual improvement of procedures
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and efficient labor/team member management including scheduling, monitoring and enforcing policies
  • Support team building through rapport, coaching, delegation and development
  • Develop and hold management staff accountable for team and company objectives
  • Support management-level staff with leadership, training and business knowledge growth
  • Build relationships with guests by monitoring and improving food, beverage and service offerings
  • Uphold cash handling policies ensuring proper cash management and accountability
  • Lead store to achieve targets through optimizing production, quality guest-service standards and productivity
  • Align store operations with strategic forecasts, budgets and financial controls
  • Drive brand initiatives and local marketing programs to retain and attract business
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales
  • Adhere to service level standards to control costs including labor, food, beverage and utilities
  • Manage P&L responsibility including sales forecasting and profit control
  • Oversee cash control, security, inventory control and take corrective actions
  • Estimate food and beverage costs, coordinate provisioning and purchasing
  • Control waste through proper portion control and inventory monitoring
  • Ensure timely completion of financial, invoice, audit and payroll duties
  • Maintain compliance with operational standards, laws and regulations
  • Enforce proper security procedures to protect team, guests and assets
  • Certify sanitary standards and maintenance for regulatory compliance
  • Ensure a safe environment minimizing accident and injury risks
  • Maintain communication with Area Director and act on issues or corrective needs
  • Provide coaching and timely feedback to motivate and direct team
  • Work with Human Resources on attendance, counseling, conflict resolution and discipline
  • Comply with wage and hour laws and work required shifts including varied hours, weekends, holidays and closing shifts
  • Participate in management development training programs
