Job Description
Outback Steakhouse is a renowned Australian-themed restaurant franchise that has been delighting customers since its inception in March of 1988. Known for its unique combination of serious food, fun, and a welcoming atmosphere, Outback Steakhouse prides itself on creating a culture where people, affectionately called "Outbackers," are treated with respect and camaraderie. This culture fosters enthusiasm and a positive working environment, where every team member feels valued and motivated to contribute to the success of the restaurant. As a franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, we are dedicated to upholding these high standards and delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest, treating each customer as if they were a guest in our own home.
We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us continue this tradition of excellence. The role is designed for individuals who are passionate about food, service, and team development. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be an integral part of our leadership team, overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations and ensuring that our standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness are met consistently. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, direct deposit, and excellent ongoing training and development opportunities.
This role involves participating in an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program, designed to prepare you for proficiency in all managerial positions within the restaurant, including Serious Food, Concentrated Service, and Spirited Drinks. You will work closely with other managers and report directly to the Managing Partner, contributing to the overall business growth and ensuring profitability through effective cost controls and smart marketing strategies. Your leadership will be central to cultivating a positive work environment that nurtures employee growth, with a focus on training Outbackers to become Certified Trainers, Keys, and Assistant Culinary Managers.
The ideal candidate is committed to maintaining safety, sanitation, and food handling standards, and passionate about delivering perfectly prepared dishes with immaculate presentation. If you are looking for a dynamic and rewarding managerial role in a fun and supportive restaurant environment, Outback Steakhouse offers you a unique opportunity to build a career while working with a team that feels like family.
