Job Requirements

  • Must be T.A.B.C certified
  • Must hold food service manager certification
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in hotel management, hospitality or related field
  • Experience in restaurant management
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with POS systems and management software
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, stooping, and stair climbing

Job Qualifications

  • T.A.B.C certification
  • Food service manager certification
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in hotel management, hospitality, or related field
  • Experience in restaurant management
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to conduct interviews and manage staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Oversees food preparation, presentation, quality, freshness, and consistency
  • Knows recipes and plate presentations including LTOs to ensure proper ordering and timely feedback and training to staff
  • Adheres to all rules and regulations of governing bodies
  • Holds consistent pre-shift, departmental, safety, and staff meetings
  • Participates in marketing strategies, promotions, and advertising
  • Keeps all equipment in safe working condition
  • Participates in scheduling and ordering
  • Controls expenses and costs
  • Uses and programs POS system (Aloha) and other management software
  • Conducts interviews, hires, and trains employees
  • Executes annual evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Ensures safety, security, and confidentiality
  • Maintains a healthy and respectful work environment
  • Upholds company mission, values, and culture through leadership and communication
