Job Description

Asia Live is a vibrant and authentic Asian cuisine restaurant located in the prestigious Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Silicon Valley, set to open in the spring of 2026. This establishment marks the first expansion of the renowned China Live San Francisco, bringing its celebrated concept and flavors to a broader audience. Asia Live spans an impressive 12,000 square feet and features a unique open kitchen layout, allowing diners to watch their meals being prepared, adding an engaging and dynamic element to the dining experience. Like China Live, Asia Live embodies a commitment to exceptional quality through the use of high-quality ingredients, meticulous culinary techniques, and outstanding service, all within a welcoming and culturally rich atmosphere.

The restaurant specializes in a diverse menu offering both authentic and modern Asian dishes inspired by vibrant flavors from across the continent. Its mission centers on delivering an unparalleled dining experience by combining innovative cuisine with traditional Asian culinary arts, catered to a discerning clientele. As a part of its operational vision, Asia Live seeks to establish itself as a leader in the local dining scene by maintaining high food standards, fostering a respectful and team-oriented work environment, and engaging with the community through thoughtful marketing and guest-focused initiatives.

The position offered is for a Restaurant Manager who will play a crucial role in shaping the daily operations and overall customer experience. This leadership role requires managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations seamlessly, ensuring that service is efficient, food quality is maintained to the highest standards, and every guest leaves satisfied. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for Asian cuisine, and a wealth of experience managing high-volume, fast-paced dining establishments. They will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising a diverse team, cultivating a positive and productive work culture in line with the restaurant's values.

Other core duties involve monitoring inventory levels, managing vendor relationships, and controlling food and labor costs to drive profitability without compromising quality. The Restaurant Manager must also ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations while continuously tracking sales performance and managing budgets to meet financial targets. Additionally, this role includes developing and implementing marketing initiatives designed to attract and retain customers, reinforcing Asia Live’s position as a go-to destination for Asian cuisine in Silicon Valley.

Ultimately, the Restaurant Manager will serve not only as an operational leader but also as a cultural ambassador who promotes an inclusive and respectful workplace that values diversity and teamwork. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional eager to contribute to a growing brand and help shape the future of Asian dining in one of America’s most vibrant regions.
