We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a salaried position with a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience, coupled with the advantage of weekly pay. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is eager to contribute to a restaurant that puts people first. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring both the front-of-house and kitchen teams deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

In this role, you will be responsible for running the floor or kitchen, creating a positive and energetic experience for both employees and guests. You will play a vital part in interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and coaching your team, fostering an atmosphere where everyone feels valued and motivated. Administrative tasks such as managing inventory, processing front-of-house and back-of-house orders, and carefully monitoring cash registers will fall under your purview, requiring you to use your organizational and problem-solving skills. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous managerial experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Pass a background check including criminal, motor vehicle, and employment history

Job Duties

  • Run the floor or kitchen creating a positive employee and guest experience
  • Interview, hire, train, develop and coach your team
  • Perform administrative activities such as inventory management, processing FOH and BOH orders, and monitoring the safe
  • Ensure food safety, quality and presentation standards are met while conducting line checks
  • Support kitchen, bar, and dining room during peak hours
  • Manage employee relations and resolve guest complaints with professionalism
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
