Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew preparation, production, and procedural execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels and enforce monitoring of crew procedures
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- Monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
- Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
- Measure service efficiency and train crew to improve service times
- Train crew in customer courtesy and solicit customer feedback
- Establish and communicate daily sales goals
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follow cleaning schedules
- Direct crew to correct cleaning deficiencies
- Train crew on new products and conduct crew orientation and training
- Assist in training new managers and cross-train crew for efficient coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Ensure prep and production goals are met according to flowcharts
- Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
- Receive weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow priorities and plans established by General Manager
- Enforce standards and procedures during shifts
- Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness levels
- Report accidents and comply with health department protocols
- Manage shifts effectively using established guidelines
- Perform administrative duties including crew scheduling
- Follow preventative maintenance program and train crew to maintain equipment
