Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • five years' experience in food & beverage management
  • prior experience in fine dining server position
  • work weekends and holidays on a flexible schedule
  • must have or be able to obtain a TAPS card and Food Handlers Card within introductory period
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college, university, or degree from culinary institute
  • five years' experience in food & beverage management
  • strong knowledge of restaurant operation
  • prior experience in a fine dining server position
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Job Duties

  • Inspect establishment and observe workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations
  • complete daily reports and assist in preparing departmental budget
  • responsible for accomplishing revenue, labor and operating expense budget goals
  • ensure and maintain standards of food quality and presentation
  • maintain communication between other departments on occupancy levels, banquets and special functions, housekeeping and maintenance, and laundry and uniforms
  • ensure adherence to all resort customer service standards
