The Restaurant Manager role at Jack in the Box is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall management and success of a restaurant unit. This position commands a comprehensive understanding of daily restaurant operations, employee management, and customer satisfaction to effectively drive sales and profitability. The manager is accountable for ensuring that the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise are successfully executed, contributing to both employee and guest satisfaction. The pay rate can be up to $23 hourly depending on location, reflecting the importance of the role in maintaining the brand's reputation.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff, ensuring high levels of motivation and talent retention. You will also oversee daily operations to maintain an exceptional guest experience by upholding food safety standards, employee conduct, and restaurant cleanliness. A significant part of your role will be analyzing operational and financial results to identify trends and implement action plans aimed at boosting restaurant performance. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years experience as a First Assistant Manager for internal promote
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and accepts responsibility
  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and use personal vehicle for business travel
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Qualifications
