Job Description
Raising Cane's is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain known for its commitment to high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Established with a focus on chicken finger meals, Raising Cane's has cultivated a loyal customer base through its consistent delivery of fresh, flavorful meals served in a welcoming, community-oriented environment. As a leading player in the quick-service restaurant industry, Raising Cane's prides itself on maintaining a vibrant culture centered around teamwork, respect, and a passion for excellence.
The role of the Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is pivotal in maintaining the operational standards and customer service excellence that the brand is known for. This position directly supports the Restaurant Leader by managing day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring that all processes align with Raising Cane's stringent quality and safety standards. The Restaurant Manager acts as the manager on duty, taking charge of opening and closing the restaurant, handling cash management, and enforcing company policies consistently during their shifts.
Working at Raising Cane's is both dynamic and physically engaging. The Restaurant Manager operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment, which requires stamina and agility due to extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The role also involves working both indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures and handling food products with attention to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. Interactions with customers are frequent, emphasizing the importance of outstanding customer service skills. The manager must ensure the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the restaurant facility, guaranteeing that it remains a safe and pleasant space for both customers and staff.
This leadership position demands a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who can efficiently manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential, as is the ability to lead crewmembers by example during shifts. The manager executes shift management duties that include directing employees, using operational tools and logs for documentation, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Utilizing Raising Cane's reward and recognition programs to motivate staff and authorize employee functions such as discounts or timeclock overrides are also key responsibilities.
Raising Cane's offers a supportive workplace culture that values flexibility and employee development. The Restaurant Manager is expected to adapt quickly to new technology systems and continuously improve management skills related to staffing, scheduling, and cost control. The role allows for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for work-related functions and training sessions.
With an hourly wage range of $21 to $23, this full-time position not only offers competitive pay but also provides perks such as flexible scheduling, paid time off, and closure on major holidays including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Raising Cane's commitment to quality and employee satisfaction makes this managerial position a valuable opportunity for individuals seeking to grow their careers in the hospitality industry while contributing to a respected and thriving brand.
