Job Description

Cracker Barrel is a well-established and beloved country-themed restaurant chain known for its warm hospitality, delicious home-style cooking, and a unique retail store filled with nostalgic gifts and décor. Founded in 1969, Cracker Barrel has grown to encompass hundreds of locations across the United States, creating a welcoming environment where guests feel at home and employees experience a culture of care and belonging. The company has a legacy of more than 50 years delivering a unique blend of dining and retail shopping, fostering a sense of community and comfort with every visit. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, Cracker Barrel prides itself on its enduring commitment to not just serving meals but also serving up a sense of warmth and genuine southern hospitality that guests can count on time and again.

The role of a Restaurant Associate Manager at Cracker Barrel is much more than a restaurant management position; it is an opportunity to be a central part of a company that values employees as much as customers. As a Restaurant Associate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in blending your passion for people and strong organizational skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences and foster a positive work environment. This role requires overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that team members are supported and empowered to provide top-notch service. With home office support available 24/7, you’ll have access to the necessary tools and resources for success. This management role offers the chance to work closely with a team dedicated to upholding Cracker Barrel’s reputation for great food, hospitality, and community engagement.

Cracker Barrel emphasizes growth and development, aiming to equip managers with the right training and support to lead by example. Managers are tasked with caring for their employees just as much as they care for guests. They receive continuous guidance and encouragement to foster a culture where care shines throughout the restaurant. The company offers competitive compensation, including annual merit increases and quarterly bonuses, reflecting its commitment to reward those who contribute meaningfully to the team. Additionally, Cracker Barrel provides comprehensive benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid vacation, underscoring the company’s investment in employee well-being.

Working at Cracker Barrel means becoming part of a family that has cultivated a warm and welcoming environment for over five decades. The position demands a strong dedication to hospitality, the ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends, and a commitment to creating moments that matter for guests and team members alike. If you are passionate about leadership, hospitality, and have experience in restaurant management, Cracker Barrel is an ideal place to grow your career while making an impact every day. Join Cracker Barrel and find your place where every shift offers the chance to create memorable experiences and build lasting relationships.
