The Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, coaching staff to provide excellent customer service, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Job Requirements

Eligible to work in Canada
Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours
Capacity to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs occasionally
Willingness to engage in repetitive tasks such as preparing and assembling orders
Ability to maintain mental alertness to ensure safety
Good personal hygiene and wearing appropriate uniform
Ability to handle stressful situations
Comfortable working in a noisy environment with hot products, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals
Willingness to use portable or step ladder if required

Job Qualifications

Experience in restaurant or fast food management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and coaching abilities
Solid understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation
Proficient in inventory and labor cost management

Job Duties

Managing the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards
Monitoring and controlling labour costs and food costs
Working as a team with co-workers to achieve service times
Coaching the staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand
Spending time every shift on the floor supporting and working with employees
Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed
Hiring, retaining, and terminating employees
Assisting with inventory management
Performing other duties which involve the day to day operation of a fast food restaurant
