The Restaurant Manager role at Invited is a pivotal position within the club's food and beverage operations. This junior management role is responsible for overseeing the daily restaurant service while ensuring that members receive top-quality service in alignment with the club’s high standards. Reporting to the Restaurant Director, Food & Beverage Director, or Assistant Food & Beverage Director, the Restaurant Manager plays an essential role in executing seamless food and beverage delivery while maintaining safety compliance and exceptional service quality. This role is both supervisory and hands-on, especially during low-volume periods, where direct involvement in service ensures smooth operation. This position demands leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of food and beverage service within a private club setting.

Key responsibilities include maintaining Invited's service standards, providing exceptional dining experiences, managing reservations and room setups, training and developing service staff, and ensuring sanitation and orderliness in all service areas. The Restaurant Manager also participates in staff meetings and training sessions to continually elevate the quality of service. Detailed knowledge of the a la carte menu and beverage offerings is necessary to assist team members and members alike. Additionally, the role requires adaptability to take on additional duties as assigned, commitment to safety protocols, and support for professional growth initiatives. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate in various environment conditions, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to Invited's core values.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or restaurant or private club setting
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • Sufficient visual acuity
  • Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage industry or private club setting
  • Preferred certifications such as Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification
  • Completion of food and beverage training modules including service, host, bartender, banquet, and safety trainings
  • Experience handling highly confidential member and employee data
  • Proficient computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain invited service standards at high levels
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests
  • Ensure member/guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
  • Supervise service staff to ensure consistent high-quality service
  • Monitor reservation book and oversee room setups
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for meal shifts
  • Assist in training and developing service staff
  • Participate in and lead staff meetings and training sessions as directed
  • Maintain knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
  • Record shift information to ensure smooth handovers
  • Communicate updates and special instructions with team members and supervisors
  • Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned
  • Follow company and club policies and procedures
  • Promote and follow safe working practices
  • Address and resolve challenges with support from regional and corporate teams
  • Support team efficiency and club goals
