The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) plays a vital executive leadership role at BURGER KING, holding the primary responsibility for the overall management and success of a single restaurant location. This full-time position is crucial in driving profitability, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing people and daily operations efficiently. The RGM reports directly to the District Manager and leads a team consisting of an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and between 20 to 45 team members. This role requires a skilled leader who excels not only in operational expertise but also in fostering a motivated team culture, boosting sales through top-tier customer service, and maintaining strict adherence to brand standards and regulatory policies.
The RGM is accountable for managing the restaurant's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, scrutinizing key financial lines to enhance profitability, and aligning the team’s efforts with corporate financial objectives. By leading proactive guest service initiatives and operational excellence, the RGM ensures the restaurant surpasses customer expectations and remains competitive. This leadership role involves hands-on management of scheduling, labor allocation, and compliance with employment laws and company policies to optimize operational efficiency. The RGM actively addresses guest feedback by identifying root causes of issues and implementing strategic action plans to continuously improve the guest experience.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1 to 2 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of P&L management and profitability drivers
- Ability to prioritize own and others' work and time to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed for the proper functioning of the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of prior restaurant management experience
- Strong knowledge of P&L management and restaurant profitability drivers
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Solid understanding of guest service principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Job Duties
