Unlike positions directly hired by Del Taco LLC, this restaurant is owned and managed by a franchisee who takes full responsibility for all employment-related matters. This means the franchisee, not Del Taco LLC, will be your direct employer. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in quick service or full service restaurant industry
- ServSafe certification
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years experience in QSR or full-service restaurant
- ServSafe certified
- Fluent in English
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure

Job Duties
- Fully staff the store with quality people
- Recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
- Ensure the entire team is certified according to training processes
- Create a service-oriented culture
- Promote an environment of fun and teamwork
- Evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
- Recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary actions
- Develop and grow team members and future managers
- Execute Del Taco standards and use processes and systems 100% of the time
- Maintain the facility and customer areas
- Maintain equipment to operational and safety standards
- Deliver quality products to Del Taco standards consistently
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
- Ensure employees wear proper uniforms
- Ensure a consistent service experience
- Ensure POP and signage are present and correctly placed
- Identify and communicate sales goals
- Ensure right staffing levels according to sales
- Increase customer count and check average
- Identify and execute local store marketing opportunities
- Stay aware of local events and competition
- Execute speed and service standards
- Execute marketing promotions flawlessly
- Maintain staffing levels in line with sales
- Comply with labor laws
- Manage inventory accurately to reduce waste and theft
- Ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Perform cash audits and address issues
- Execute safety and health standards
- Manage service vendors efficiently
- Achieve and communicate controllable cost targets
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
