This leadership position involves efficiently supervising, guiding, and training all restaurant associates to maximize their performance and help them achieve their full potential. The supervisor will also be responsible for scheduling, evaluating, and directing restaurant personnel, including administering disciplinary actions when necessary. This role demands strong communication skills to maintain open and effective channels between management and associates, fostering a positive workplace culture. The supervisor will ensure that appropriate inventory levels of supplies and materials are maintained so that staff can effectively perform their duties. Additionally, the supervisor will establish, direct, and review liquor procedures to guarantee security and accountability aligned with legal regulations. Participation in various meetings, such as monthly department meetings, manager on duty programs, weekly staff meetings, and inventory reviews, is essential for continuous operational improvement. Maintaining constant control of sanitation standards and operational protocols within the restaurant is a critical responsibility for this role. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about federal, state, and local laws related to food and liquor service, with a commitment to training staff in responsible alcohol service. Job Duties
- Efficiently supervise, guide and train all restaurant associates in how to perform their job duties to the best of their abilities
- Schedule, evaluate and direct all restaurant personnel, including providing disciplinary action if necessary
- Keep open communication between management and associates
- Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials needed for associates to perform their jobs
- Establish, direct and review liquor procedures to ensure adequate security and accountability
- Participate in monthly department meetings, property MOD programs, weekly staff meetings, weekly restaurant, room service and lounge meetings, and monthly food and supplies inventory
- Maintain constant control of sanitation levels and operating standards for the restaurant
