We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, exempt position with a work week averaging between 50-65 hours. The Restaurant Manager will report directly to the Restaurant Franchise Partner and play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing front-of-house operations to ensure guests receive world-class dining experiences. The ideal candidate will display outstanding organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and a hands-on management style to coach and develop their team effectively in real time. The role demands a firm dedication to maintaining KPOT’s service model, operational excellence, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet the needs of this fast-paced and thriving restaurant environment.
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing labor through scheduling, monitoring bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. They will conduct pre-shift meetings that focus on delivering excellent service, maximizing upselling opportunities, and upholding brand standards consistently. This position includes recruiting, training, and developing hourly team members while holding staff accountable to high performance and service metrics. Driving sales growth and local marketing initiatives is central to this role, alongside maintaining a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment.
Expertise in POS systems, scheduling software such as 7Shifts, and purchasing platforms will be utilized to streamline daily processes and improve operational efficiency. The Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of KPOT’s brand standards, plate presentation, and recipe adherence, ensuring every dining experience meets the brand’s expectations. The role requires a strong foundation in P&L management, understanding the relationship between sales, labor, and operational costs.
This position involves being on the floor during service times to manage shift operations, labor cuts, and guest engagement to guarantee an exceptional dining atmosphere. Health department standards regarding food handling, storage, and sanitation must be rigorously enforced. The Restaurant Manager will communicate regularly with the Franchise Partner to provide updates on daily operations, service quality, and team performance. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed to support the restaurant’s overall success.

- Holds a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification

- Demonstrate clear, high-level communication skills to effectively lead teams and enhance guest satisfaction
- Solid experience with P&L management understanding the relationship between sales, labor, and operational costs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
