The role of Restaurant Manager, also known as the Hospitality Captain, plays a critical part in the restaurant's daily operations and long-term success. This leadership position requires managing all facets of restaurant activities, including overseeing team members, coaching and training staff to meet high standards, handling customer relations, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Restaurant Manager is entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing a motivated and skilled team through development programs and team-building exercises, making sure all employees are equipped to deliver excellent service consistently. Maximizing profitability through effective budgeting, controlling expenses, and driving sales are key elements of this role, along with maintaining rigorous standards for food safety, sanitation, and compliance with local laws regarding alcohol and labor regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification as required by state law
  • Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in English
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid Manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification required by state law
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and liquor service laws

Job Duties

  • Being strong brand stewards and ensuring each guest receives excellent service by leading and modeling our 1-4-7 philosophy
  • Developing a strong and motivated team through recruitment, communication and training plans
  • Identify strategies to retain and develop the best Team Members
  • Leading Team Members through coaching, discipline and adherence to the brand standards
  • Executing positive financial results including but not limited to meeting sales goal and optimizing P&L
  • Ensuring that restaurant facilities are consistently meeting brand standards
  • Being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests
  • Ensuring compliance with all labor regulations
