The role of Restaurant Manager at Denny's is a dynamic and essential position responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. Job Duties

  • Represent Denny's vision, mission and core values
  • prepare and interpret financial and operational reports and schedules
  • analyze data and develop solutions to ensure operating goals are achieved
  • oversee assigned shifts and monitor brand standards execution by directing hourly staff
  • assist in achieving controllable profit goals by monitoring controls and taking corrective actions
  • develop and coach hourly employees on brand standards and corporate policies
  • attract, hire, onboard and retain hourly talent
  • address relations issues and recommend corrections
  • participate in developing hourly employees through training programs and development plans
  • establish good community relations to increase guest counts
  • monitor security procedures to protect employees, guests and assets
  • enforce sanitary practices in food handling and cleanliness
  • maintain an enjoyable and respectful environment for guests and employees
  • ensure compliance with employment policies, brand standards and regulations
  • follow management cash handling, inventory and other operational procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
