As a Restaurant Manager at Texas Roadhouse, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to uphold the company’s high standards for food quality and customer service. This leadership role requires managing and motivating a team of hourly employees, from hiring and training to performance evaluation and scheduling. You will drive sales, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain safety and security standards throughout the restaurant. Your role also involves hands-on food production oversight, quality control through line taste and temperature checks, inventory management, and enforcing safe food handling practices. The role demands excellent communication skills, a passion for guest experiences, and the ability to foster a positive and safe work environment aligned with Texas Roadhouse’s core values and operational goals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to enforce company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage schedules and employee performance
  • Coaching and staff development experience
  • Familiarity with inventory and cost control

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
  • Review applications interview and hire or recommend hourly employees
  • Direct work for employees including setting hours weekly schedules and assigning tasks
  • Drive sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • Provide direct and schedule FOH and BOH training
  • Supervise and oversee food production and preparation consistent with recipes and procedures
  • Conduct formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Enforce security measures to maintain safety of employees and guests
  • Manage food supplies and liquor costs through weekly inventory
  • Understand manage and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Create a safe fun and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
