Job Description
Raising Cane's is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain specializing in high-quality chicken finger meals. Known for its vibrant company culture, exceptional customer service, and commitment to quality, Raising Cane's has grown to become a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry. This establishment prides itself on providing an engaging and fast-paced work environment where teamwork, dedication, and operational excellence are highly valued. Its focus on consistent food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction has made it a preferred dining choice for many customers. Moreover, Raising Cane's is passionate about fostering positive relationships with its employees by promoting growth opportunities and comprehensive training programs.
We are currently seeking a diligent and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team. This full-time role, offering compensation between $19 and $21 per hour, is pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Leader in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for upholding Raising Cane's operational standards and maintaining the culture that defines the brand. This position involves managing shift activities, ensuring quality control across all operational zones, and delivering exemplary customer service. Working in this role means being at the frontline of the restaurant environment, where the physical demands include extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending within a fast-paced kitchen and dining setting.
The Restaurant Manager acts as the manager on duty, with duties including opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling procedures, and ensuring full accountability of resources. You will be responsible for enforcing Raising Cane's policies and safety standards, overseeing shift execution through proper documentation and corrective action processes, and directing crewmember activities throughout each shift. Engagement with employees is a key aspect of the role, which involves utilizing the company's reward and recognition programs to motivate and acknowledge team members. You will authorize employee-related functions requiring managerial approval, such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides.
Maintaining the cleanliness and overall functionality of the restaurant facility is also fundamental to this position. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to a fast-changing work environment, and demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends is necessary, along with the capacity to travel for training and other work-related events. This role demands excellent communication capabilities, a collaborative spirit, and the capability to independently recognize challenges and implement effective solutions. Completion of all Raising Cane's company training programs is mandatory, ensuring consistent application of company standards and practices.
Overall, this position offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership in the quick-service industry and eager to contribute to a thriving restaurant team. Raising Cane's commitment to employee development and operational excellence makes this an attractive role for candidates looking to grow professionally in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
