Job Description

Asia Live is a vibrant and dynamic Asian cuisine restaurant soon to open in the spring of 2026 at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall, situated in the heart of Silicon Valley. As an expansion of the renowned China Live San Francisco, Asia Live represents the next chapter in delivering authentic and modern Asian flavors to an eager audience. Spanning an impressive 12,000 square feet, this new establishment features an open kitchen concept that invites diners to experience the artistry and energy of meal preparation up close. Asia Live is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences through the use of high-quality ingredients, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere that honors Asian culinary traditions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about Asian cuisine and restaurant management to join a growing brand poised to make a significant impact in the region. The position is full-time and centered on upholding the restaurant's high standards of food quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of restaurant operations. Responsibilities include managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and a hospitable dining environment. The manager will hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff, forging a motivated and cohesive team dedicated to excellence. Exceptional customer service will be paramount, with the manager swiftly addressing and resolving any guest concerns to enhance the overall dining experience.

Maintaining the authenticity and impeccable presentation of Asian cuisine on the menu is critical. The manager will closely monitor inventory, manage vendor relationships, and control food and labor costs to support profitable operations. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations is a priority to uphold the restaurant's reputation and guarantee the welfare of both staff and guests.

Business acumen is also essential as the Restaurant Manager will track sales performance, manage budgets, and develop strategic marketing initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining a loyal customer base. Beyond operations, fostering a culturally respectful and team-oriented workplace culture will ensure employees thrive in a positive and inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership skills, excellent communication capabilities, and prior experience in high-volume dining settings. Familiarity with Asian cuisine and culture is a significant advantage that will enable the manager to uphold menu authenticity and resonate with the restaurant’s target clientele. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays aligns with the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

Asia Live offers an inspiring work environment where culinary passion meets operational excellence. Those ready to contribute to an innovative and expanding Asian dining destination are encouraged to apply. Join Asia Live and help shape the future of vibrant Asian cuisine in Silicon Valley.
